Honestly my friend ,I think your going OTT with all this. The Police probably feel they have much more important matters to get involved with than a few vagabond night hawkers. Nighthawkers are a pain in the butt, but personally I think the "punishments" your advocating are well past the extreme mark. If TRUTH be known there will be plenty who dabble in it on this forum but of course will never in a million years own up to it. Your never in a month of Sundays going to get to the stage (IMHO) where anyone convicted of going night hawking is going to go on any list to stop them buying another detector ,ever.
Even Idiots who get Jailed for driving offences don`t go on any List so they can never buy another car again ,do they ? . Putting such a thing into operation and enforcing it wouldn`t be practical .The Police would laugh at it I would imagine if they were asked . They ARE cutting the Police on the job back in the cuts anyway ,so there arn`t enough Police to do a proper job as it is without expecting the Police to faff about waiting to ambush night hawkers. I`m sure even they think their time is better spent on much more important matters. .

I see the Troll is having a go again trying to elicit a response to his posts on his blog. Addedomaros is the target this time.
Well i am sure the repsonse rate for the Trolls comments on this topic and most others will remain at a fat zero which goes to show that either no one is interested in the slightest at his ramblings (which is most probable), or can't be bothered to respond to a selective presentation of the facts coupled with regurgitated halftruths, hearsay, anecdotal comment, inuendo and of course down right lies. Of course there are many who would love to comment and give their views ,but prefer not to get into an exchange of comments and views on a blog controlled by a Troll who will no doubt exercise his power to edit any comments to suit his own ends. To fall into the trap of responding will simply invite personal abuse and taking your words and comments out of context to suit the Trolls arguments .......nah cant be bothered get into that as i have better things to do with my time.
Back on topic the excavation does look rather professionally done as has been pointed out even by the Troll so top marks to him for that observation. So what has been going on ? Did the Police get the wrong people ?

Herr Paul Goebbels is an out n out attention seeker ,as why else would he virtually demand his Blog be identified ? Why, because its no more than a creation of personal propaganda designed at maniacally attacking a perfectly legitimate hobby that `just` doesn`t appeal to Herr Goebbels`s criteria of a legitimate hobby, so it HAS to be wrong to do.
Even his own Arkie "types" in the UK despise him, so that,in itself speaks volumes. The worlds full of self righteous ego maniacs that have nothing better to do that denounce everything and anything they zero in on as their target victim .
